Why I Started SlipDix

The idea for SlipDix started while I was on my honeymoon with my husband, Kevin. I was thinking about the future, what came next, and how I could build something meaningful that would help us create a better life.

With my background in eCommerce and digital marketing, I knew I could build more than just another online store. I wanted to create a place that felt safer, more personal, and more trustworthy than the big adult retailers that often feel overpriced, impersonal, or awkward to shop from.

As a gay man, I also know how important it is to feel safe, respected, and not judged when shopping for personal products. SlipDix was built to be a store where people can browse confidently, ask real questions if they need help, and know that their order is being handled by someone who actually cares.

SlipDix is not some giant, faceless corporation with inflated prices and generic support. It is a small, independent business run by me, James, from the greater Cleveland area. I personally manage the store, process orders, choose products, write content, answer messages, and constantly work to make the experience better.
